Ingredients: 
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • water
Instructions: 

Put dry ingredients in a large bowl. Using a grater, grate the frozen butter into the dry mixture. Mix with your hands (or any implement you feel comfortable with) until it becomes crumbly. Mix in egg and vinegar. Add water a little at a time, until the dough comes together and will form a ball.

Turn dough onto floured surface and divide in two. Gently roll the dough on the floured surface.
