Ingredients: 
  • 15 oz box chocolate cake mix (I used Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge)
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions: 
  1. Add cake mix, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and semi sweet chocolate chips to a bowl and use a rubber spatula to mix until well combined.
  2. Transfer the cake mix brownie batter to a greased 8 X 8 baking dish
  3. Bake the brownies at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (mine were perfect right at 25 minutes)
  4. For best results, allow brownies to cool completely before cutting
